Vacuum First

Let Carpet Dry Fully Before Traffic

Walking on damp carpet embeds fresh dirt before the fibers have dried in an upright position. Dry times range from 30 minutes with heat-equipped machines on thin pile to 4 to 6 hours for thick pile carpet without ventilation. Speed up drying by opening windows, running fans, or using the machine’s dry-only pass (if available) for a second run after the wash cycle.
